It is unfortunate the tragedy that occurred at Virginia Tech Monday was picked up by the gun control lobby as a new "war cry".
The killing of 32 people by one crazed madman is a tragic thing, but the quick knee jerk response of the left is abominable. The cry for stricter gun control and confiscation of guns will produce angst and dissension thoughout the land. But it won't stop murders caused by people who are determined to kill. In fact one well armed teacher might have save many lives monday in Virginia.
The multitude of laws and law enforcement personnel has not stopped the use of illegal drugs. It has increased and drive up the price for the product.
What this country needs if we are to avoid anarchy and totalitarian rules is a return to a national respect for life and religion. Not more laws!
The total loss of respect for human life as evidenced in laws passed and SCOTUS rulings allowing mercy killing and unfettered abortion, has led the country onto a path of destruction from within.
Unfettered exploitation of sexual activity and a movie and television industry that glorifies violence and sex has made Sodom and Gomorrah look rather benign.
The young South Korean who lived here since he was eight years old, grew up with the culture of depravity all around him. It is a wonder more teens don't go onto killing rampages after spending their formative years watching violence on TV and in movies. Video games glorifying and rewarding killing are a big part of the pre-teen and teen years entertainment.
The left has done everything it can do to remove religion from the lives of children growing up today, and the result of all the above is the violence we were horrified by on Monday. Our Country needs to return to a "virtuous society"if we want to eliminate such carnage by our youth.

Not only is the mortal enemy at Our gates. They are well placed among us.
The document that is the framework of this great nation is being used to advance a threat to our way of life right under our noses with little or none mention in the MSM.
Immediately after 9/11 the threat of Muslim terrorism was on every ones minds. We even began targeting Arab looking men at check points in airports. But then the Muslim advocacy groups went to work. CAIR the organization bankrolled by Saudi Arabia, and The National Council of Arabs went on the offensive, and it became not"PC" to target all Muslims.
WE were bombarded with newspaper and TV features that told us we must distinguish between the Terrorist and the Muslim religion. It was soon considered Islamophobic to even suggest that the Muslim religion is a fanatical cult that is dedicated to the replacement of our Constitution with Sharia laws.
Some States have allowed their elementary schools to have Muslim days when the children all must dress up in Muslim garb, and observe Muslim culture for a day. In California. One school even raised a banner that read "Allah is the one and only God"!
TV shows like "24" started calling the terrorists Chinese or Chechen radicals, apparently after they were visited by CAIR leaders. The move was on to separate the "moderate" Muslim from the Terrorist Muslim. The Democrats in Congress even want to ban the words "World wide terrorism."
The problem is from the mouths of Muslims who are accepted leaders in the U.S. we hear a different story. The following is a quote from "Islam Watch". Read it and then ask yourself if there are two kinds of Muslims, and if not what shall we do?

They originated in Shi’ite Islamic defenses against Sunni Islam, but have their roots in the Qur’an (3:28 and 16:106). Many radical Muslims today work hard to deceive unbelievers, in line with Muhammad’s statement, “War is deceit.”

The man pictured to the left is James Hansen, director of NASA Goddard Institute in New York.
He spoke this past week to the media in London, England of the impending catastrophe of global warming. His background is similar to other non-scientist advocates of the "anthropogenic climate change" religion that has swept the developed nations lately. Hansen is an educated physicist and astronomer,not a climatologist. Not un- like Al Gore, with no scientific training, has taken on the mantle of the new left. The ecology movement, and it's Marxist goals to bring down the capitalistic system. Not that they are Marxists. But their "quest" is running hand in hand with those who are!
The whole movement began in the 1970's, when the coal miners struck in England during Margaret Thatchers term as prime Minister of England. Like so many other leaders of the free world she was worried about Her Country's dependence on oil and coal.
To alleviate this problem she went to the scientific community with a great deal of money and told them to find that fossil fuels producing co2 was the cause of raising temperatures. Her intent was to promote clean nuclear power supplies. Like many good ideas it ran away with itself!
Most of those who have taken up the cause of "global warming", including Presidents and Prime Ministers, have bought into the idea that the environmental movement is too strong a force to fight.
Indeed the environmental industry in the U.S. has grown from a government (aka taxpayer) investment of 170 million dollars in the early 1980's to a present 2 billion dollar taxpayers expense. There are hundreds of thousands of government and higher education people making their living off this movement. Mr. Gore even has his hands in the profit making end of environmentalism. But those that want to destroy our way of life are not all Islamists.
The founder of Green Peace, Patrick Moore, was recently quoted as saying: " Peaceniks" and Marxists have moved into the ecology movement with their anti-capitalist motives."
The National Resources Defense Council and Council on Foreign Relations are the other strong forces behind the push to make the lie of co2 and global warming a truth.
Most if not all the predictions used to support the claim for the connection between co2 and global warming come from computer models. These models are all subject to the well known acronym "GIGO". Garbage in and Garbage out! This is so, because none of the data used for their predictions, takes into account the Suns energy busts. A subject I touched on in previous blog.
Real scientists and climatologists, like Dr. Pirus Corbyn, claim that the "sun Bursts" sometimes called sun spots have more effect on global warming than co2.
All computer models used by the "gloom and doom" global warming advocates use co2 as the basis for the warming. This fact has been stated by Dr. Roy Spencer of NASA.
MIT professor R. Lindgen states that: "the green house propaganda was begun in 1988, when the IPPC predicted disaster due to global warming. This was done with no evidence to prove or support the theory that co2 causes global warming."
In fact the studies of ice core samples taken in the Arctic by Scientists from MIT and Harvard show that co2 does not cause temperature rises, but the temperature rises produce an increase in co2 over time.
Another large producer and sink of co2 are the worlds oceans. They absorb co2 when the ocean is cold and produce co2 when the ocean becomes warm.
Even the scientists who put together the Kyoto Agreement stated that if we reduce emissions of co2 drastically by 60-80 percent, as they recommended, it will only reduce global temperatures by .005 to .01 degrees by 2050!
But if we do fall into the trap of global warming and reduce co2 by the demanded amount. This Country will revert back to the bicycle days of the 1990s.
Professors of science have long been telling those who will listen that co2 is naturally produced by decaying vegetation and animal matter. Cows are a large producer of methane gas. Should we kill all the cows?
The polar bears have survived the dramatic climate changes of recorded history and they will adapt as will we to any natural change in temperature. Whats the real worry? Most of us and are relatives for the next generation won't live to see any change. Even if the "quacks" are correct. This heretic believes they are wrong and know they are!

The famous battle of the Bulge during World War II was nearly lost because our troops were running out of ammunition, food and medical supplies,
The Germans had launched a last desperate attack in Belgium with the full force of Panzer Tanks and thousands of troops. This offensive was to try to keep the Allies from invading Germany.
Because of overcast skies and the German troops surrounding the Americans on three sides. Our soldiers were trapped and facing possible annihilation.
Thank God, clearing skies and the race across Europe by Patton's tanks.prevented Our defeat. The battle of the Bulge was eventually won. But at a great cost of lives due to the lack of supplies.
Since wars began, the one thing that has to be maintained is the supply line if an army has any hope of winning.
Europe and all Of Asia would also have been lost, no matter how valiantly our troops fought, if their supply lines were cut off.
Today we have the Congress of the United States threatening to cut off the supplies to our men and women in Iraq!
Even though President Bush will veto this Bill as presently constituted. The Congress seems determined to inflict defeat on the U.S. even if it means they have to literally take the weapons out of the troops hands.
Not only did they pass legislation that is a betrayal of our brave volunteers in harms way. They are giving aid and comfort to the enemy by visiting them in their own"lairs".
Congressional Speaker of the House Ms. Pelosi made history by being the only Speaker to visit a leader of a country during war who is known to be an accomplice of those we fight. Her visit to Syria was infamous!
Last week Congressman and Democratic majority leader, Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) , took it upon himself to pay a visit with a known Hamas supporter.
Hoyer met with Mohammad el-Katatni in Cairo, Egypt. After the meeting el-Katatni said: "they reached agreements that would be helpful when the Democrats win in 2008!
Instead of helping to win this war against Islamists. The democrats seem to be trying to help us loose. Look at their actions and You be the Judge!

The Main Stream Media, including both radio and television, has been bombarding their airways with fabrications designed by slick Madison Avenue advertising firms for years. The claims the adds make are not always true or even close to the truth.
But as Joseph Stalin and Adolph Hitler learned. If you tell a lie often enough most people will believe it.
The Media news, that in my boyhood days would report the news, has adopted an advocacy presentation with the stories they send out to the unsuspecting public.
Unfortunately most of the media outlets are left wing advocates, dedicated to brain washing the American people into believing we are bad and our history is filled with atrocities for which we should fell guilty. Never mind getting the truth. Tell the story fast and repeat it until the "ignorant" masses believe it.
Two recent examples are the Duke Lacrosse team "rape case", and today's bombing of the Iraqi parliament building.
In the Duke case all the MSM outlets had tried and convicted the 3 "not guilty" young men before an indictment was handed down. They dug up every white hating black racist to have his say to the U.S. ,and never did anyone suggest these boys were innocent. Well, they are!
The bombing of the Iraqi parliament building is another example of advocacy journalism. The MSM wants the U.S. to loose this one as they did in the Vietnam War.
So when they news hit the wires the first thing broadcast was that a woman suicide bomber blew herself up inside the building. The next thing uttered was that this is a demonstration of the U.S. military lack of ability to secure the "Green Zone".
They never bothered to tell you that the bombing may have been caused by a bomb planted inside the cafeteria before today. Nor did they tell you that because of the threat of such action there were bomb sniffing dogs at the entrance to the building this morning before the blast occurred.
The latest news, still not reported by MSM, is that the bomb was set by a security guard of one of the members of the parliament.
As for the "Green Zone" being safe and secure. There are 15,000 people who live within this zone. They pass in and out off the zone daily. Anyone at anytime if they are sympathetic to the terrorist cause can bring explosive back into the zone.
But never mind the facts. Tell the story so it makes the U.S. and it's President look bad. Wake Up America!!

The London Times Union online edition has an article alerting it's readers to the possibility that the aggressive speech of Iran's Ahmadinjad concerning his determination to proceed with nuclear enrichment might embolden the Washington "Hawks". A name used by leftists to describe Americans who would rather attack than wait to be attacked again.
Roget's Thesaurus uses the top of it's definitions list to describe a hawk as: "war monger, war dog, a person who urges war".
It lists further down that it can mean one who: "proclaims or publicizes." This is another illustration of "PC" speak taking over our lives. I personally think of "JAXHAWK"(my handle for JaxConservative Blog) as one who publicizes facts and ideas. I do believe as all patriots do. That a Country should go to war to defend our way of life ,or after it has been attacked by hateful people, as we were on 9/11/01.
The real purpose of this blog is not to make an argument with semantics, but to explain what I believe are pertinent facts.
Despite the fact that Iran has the second largest oil and gas reserves in the world. More than enough to fuel it's energy needs for 75 million citizens. Iran seems to be determined to produce enriched nuclear energy for which it has no peaceful needs.
Iran has the largest single source of Uranium in the Middle East, and is not dependant upon imports of raw uranium. This year they have processes 37 tons of "yellow cake" uranium, and have stated plans to mine 40 tons of uranium ore every year.
 Each 30 tons can produce 220 pounds of enriched uranium! This amount used properly, can make 4-5 nuclear bombs depending upon the destructive yield desired.
Now call all of us hawks who would hate and fear for our saftey, if the "little megalomaniac" in Tehran gets his hands on multiple atomic bombs. Those who rather ignore the possibility belong in the Zoo with the Ostrich.

In 1994 the NAFTA agreement involving the U.S.A. Canada and Mexico was signed to the extreme displeasure of Unions and Presidential hopeful Ross Perot.
Since the agreement many automobile manufacturing jobs have been lost to Mexican cheap labor. The same thing has happened to the manufacturing of clothing and head wear, but these jobs have not been lost to Mexico.
With President Nixon's re-opening trade with China in the 1970's the steady flow of jobs manufacturing textiles and head wear has been to the sweatshops of China and third world countries.
You cannot go into a department store or sports shop without finding the majority of the caps, shirts and shoes are made in Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Nicaragua or the Philippines.
Most of the labor is done in "sweat shop" conditions by children as young as 5 years old. These children make an average of five dollars a day for 10-12 hours work with no benefits, in cramped non-climate controlled conditions.
In Indonesia 12 year old children work 70 hours a week making shoes to be sold by American companies in the U.S.
The Nike "Air Max" shoes that sell for $140.00 and the sports shirt with the famous Nike "swirl" selling for $39.00 are both made in Pakistan.
Half the worlds soccer balls are made in Pakistan by children as young as five years old working for $5.00 a day!
In the GAP stores you can find pricey clothing that was made in Saipan by Chinese women working for a monthly salary of $60.00. The same amount of profit the Gap makes on average for every shirt sold.
The once mighty steel industry has declined to the point where exports of U.S. steel have declined from 79 million tons in 1989 to 52 million tons in 2001. At the same time our imports of steel from Taiwan has increased by 133%.
This shift from an exporting surplus to an import consumer is estimated to have cost over 500 million dollars in National income, and cost the consumer of products made of steel from 1.9 billion dollars to 4 billion dollars a year.
Much of the blame must be laid at the feet of the Unions whose contract demands exceeded that which the steel companies could absorb and still be profitable.
Not all the blame is at the unions feet. The "free Trade" policies of our government have made many countries wealthy that were previously considered "third" world countries. China is a perfect example. They now produce 418 million tons of steel even though they have scarce iron and steel resources.
Millions of skilled laborers who were part of the United States military industrial complex have lost their jobs to foreign countries. This happening is much to the delight of the leftists who hate the military and await the time when labor unrest will allow them to begin the American equivalent of the 1917 Russian revolution.
My concern is the lack of the ability to produce adequate tanks, ships, and guns in the event that we find ourselves in a full scale war in the future.
Lest you forget even the uniforms worn by many servicemen are made in foreign countries. Have we made ourselves weaker by allowing unfettered Free Trade?

Before we accept the inevitable liberal claptrap the Media will spoon feed the American public about the magnanimous gesture of the Ahmadinijad release of the 15 abducted "Britt's". Let us consider what actually took place before these illegally captured sailors and royal marines were "pardoned". For their capture the Commander of Irans Coast Guard was given a medal. Shown in the picture to the left.
In the first place how can you pardon people who have been illegally abducted?
It also is interesting to note that the day these military personnel were released. The U.S. released an Iranian diplomat in Baghdad. This man was captured in February, 2007.
The U.S. announced that it is making plans to allow Iranian "diplomats" to visit the five Iranian Revolutionary Guards captured a few weeks ago near the Iraq town of Irbil.
Prior to the release of the British military personnel the British sent a message to the Iranian Foreign Minister that "it will not happen again". Meaning the British have realized that Iran has demonstrated that they can't be trifled with. They have the capacity to take action and that will undoubtedly make the British more careful that they don't "invade Iranian waters again.
This lack of action appears on the surface to be a diplomatic victory for Iran. What it really does is show how weak the British Empire has become. It also gives more courage and resolve to the Muslim Extremists to continue their terrorists activities of kidnapping and bombing all "infidels" until the whole world accepts "that there is no God but Allah".
The minute The released personnel landed in England the Prime Minister condemned the killing of four British soldiers who were victims of an IED. In his statement on the steps of Blair House he said: "Iran is guilty of backing, financing and arming Iraqi terrorists".
We have not seen the end of this type of terrorism and unless we eradicate the Islamist radicals they will be blowing up Main Street USA before long. Appeasement and "playing nice" will not deter the Terrorists!

Anyone that thinks the Iranians capture of the 15 British sailors and royal marines was anything but a planned abduction is living in a world of denial.
This unprovoked seizure of these 14 men and one woman in two rigid rubber boats was a long planned for attack.
On January 11th, 2007 five Iranian "diplomats were apprehended near Najaf, Iraq by U.S. Forces. These men have been identified as members of the Iranian secret organisation "QUDS".
This group of Revolutionary Guards are the elite training and supply source for the Mahdi Army, Hezbolla, Badar Organisation and Hamas. They also are responsible for their own terrorism. An example is the bombing of Kobar Towers in Saudi Arabia.
They are also responsible for supplying the Shia terrorists in Iraq with the armour piercing IED's used to blow up Humvees with military personnel aboard.
These terrorist leaders report directly to the Ayatollah Ali Khomeini, and were assisted in their development by the current President of Iran, Ahmadinjad, while he was serving in the Revolutionary Guard.
They are located throughout the world and are believed to have covert operations here in America.
Their headquarters in Iraq is located in Najaf, but their headquarters in Iran are in the abandoned American Embassy building in Tehran.
The word "QUDS" is Arabic for Jerusalem.
U.S. General John Abizaid, before he was relieved, claimed that the Quds in Iraq, were training and providing weapons to Shia death Squads.
These are the terrorists who killed four American soldiers they captured near Karbala when they ambushed the Americans driving black SUV's and wearing American army uniforms on 1/20/07. A clear violation of the Geneva Convention the leftists in this Country claim they are entitled to.
The Iranians were lying in wait for the opportunity to capture any troops that were a supporting force to the U.S. effort in Iraq, as a retaliation for the capture of the Quds.
They want them back before they are forced to give up valuable information about their activities here in The U.S.
But don't tell the Democrats that the continuing war in Iraq is helping save lives here at home. It will fall on dead ears and closed minds!
