FOOLS AND EMPOWERERS OF ISLAMIC TERRORISM!!

Fox News is reporting a continuing disturbing pattern of the Obama administration treating Terrorists as criminals not as what they really are, terrorists!
I believe as do most Americans that terrorists do not deserve any Constitutional civil or judicial rights that are granted to our citizens.
The ACLU and too many leftist ruling Federal judges have the opinion that the rights granted to all USA citizens are applicable to people who advocate death and destruction to Americans. I think they are dead wrong! But unfortunately Law schools like Yale and City University of New York have some professors and too many students who are willing to step up to the Bar of Justice to defend these terrorists!

Human rights campaigners have argued that the prisoners in Afghanistan should be given the same rights as those at Guantanamo, but the U.S. military argues that Bagram detainees should be treated differently because they are being held in an active theater of war.

Their status is the subject of lawsuits in the United States. A federal judge ruled in April that several Bagram detainees have the right to challenge their detention in U.S. courts.

Ramzi Kassem, a law professor at City University of New York and some of his Law students are presently representing one of the Bagram detainees, and are anxious to participate in the defense of those Taliban terrorists who will now challenge their detention as outlined by the Obama administration. Talk about giving aid and comfort to the enemy!

What tools and fools these jihadi-enablers be. Civil liberties opportunism is literally a part of the al-Qaida handbook. A terrorist manual seized in a Manchester, England, raid in 2005 advised operatives: “At the beginning of the trial, the brothers must insist on proving that torture was inflicted on them by state security before the judge. Complain of mistreatment while in prison.” Jihadi commanders rehearsed the lines with their foot soldiers “to ensure that they have assimilated it.”

Since 9/11, the selective champions of privacy have recklessly blabbed about counterterrorism operations, endangered the lives of military and intelligence officials at Gitmo, and undermined national security through endless litigation. They accused Bush immigration officials of xenophobia for pursuing visa overstayers from jihadi-friendly countries. They accused local law enforcement, FBI and other homeland security officials of “racial profiling” for placing heightened scrutiny on mosques and jihadi-linked charities.

Now, caught red-handed blowing the cover of CIA operatives, they shrug their shoulders and dismiss it as “normal” research on behalf of “our clients.”

But don’t you dare question their love of country. Spying to stop the next 9/11 is treason, you see. Spying to stop enhanced interrogation of Gitmo detainees is patriotic. And endangering America on behalf of international human rights is the ultimate form of leftist dissent.Source:Michelle Malkin

I do not understand the reasoning of those who think they can bargain with the Devil. For do not confuse these prisoners as similar to those who occupy our prisons. The terrorists have been capture on the field of battle without uniform or flag. Their main objective is to kill and maim American troops and any of their fellow citizens who get in the way.

You cannot dance with the Devil and make everything safe for Americans in the field of battle or here at home!

And we must always remember that Lying and cheating in the Arab world is not really a moral matter but a method of safeguarding honor and status, avoiding shame, and at all times exploiting possibilities, for those with the wits for it, deftly and expeditiously to convert shame into honor on their own account and vice versa for their opponents. If honor so demands, lies and cheating may become absolute imperatives.” [David Pryce-Jones, “The Closed Circle” An interpretation of the Arabs, p4]

“No dishonor attaches to such primary transactions as selling short weight, deceiving anyone about quality, quantity or kind of goods, cheating at gambling, and bearing false witness. The doer of these things is merely quicker off the mark than the next fellow; owing him nothing, he is not to be blamed for taking what he can.” [David Pryce-Jones, “The Closed Circle”, p38] So how can anyone allow these people the right to lie to facilitate there release from military prison to return to killing our brave troops, and still be called an American?

NOW WE ARE NEGOTIATING WITH TERRORIST GROUPS

From the "Long War Journal" I learned that not only is Obama planning on closing Gitmo prison, there are other releases little noticed by the Main stream media.
The following is an excerpt from an article detailing the release of a leader of a known Iranian terrorist group affiliated with and a direct connection to Hezbollah.
It illustrates that the Bush and Clinton doctrine of not negotiating with terrorists who hold hostages is now being abrogated by the Obama administration.
It appears the technique of extending the hand of friendship and open dialog, now is extended to known terrorist leaders and groups

"The US military has released a senior member of a deadly terror group backed by Iran that has been directly implicated in the kidnapping and murder of five US soldiers in Karbala during a complex operation in early 2007.

Laith al Qazali was freed last weekend "as part of a reconciliation effort" as well as an attempt to secure the release of captive British hostages, according to a report in The New York Times.

Laith is the brother of Qais Qazali, the commander of the Qazali network, which is better known as the Asaib al Haq, or the League of the Righteous. Qais Qazali was a spokesperson and senior aide to Mahdi Army leader Muqtada al Sadr. The terror group, which was part of the Mahdi Army until the spring of 2008, has received extensive financial and military support from Iran's Qods Force, the external division that backs Hezbollah and is tasked with supporting the Khomeinist Islamist revolution.

The League of the Righteous was directly implicated by General David Petraeus as being behind the January 2007 attack on the Provincial Joint Coordination Center in Karbala as well as other high-profile terror attacks in Iraq. Five US soldiers were killed during the Karbala attack and subsequent kidnapping attempt. The US soldiers were executed after US and Iraqi security forces closed in on the assault team.

The attack on the Karbala Provincial Joint Coordination Center was a complex, sophisticated operation. The assault team, led by tactical commander Azhar al Dulaimi, was trained in a mock-up of the center that was built in Iran. The unit had excellent intelligence and received equipment that made them appear to be US soldiers. Some of the members of the assault team are said to have spoken English.

Also detained during the raid was Ali Mussa Daqduq, a senior Hezbollah operative who was tasked by Iran to organize the Special Groups and "rogue" Mahdi Army cells along the lines of Lebanese Hezbollah. Daqduq is a 24-year veteran of Hezbollah, and he commanded both a Hezbollah special operations unit and the security detail of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Azhar al Dulaimi was killed in a raid in Baghdad in May 2007.

The US military claimed that Laith's release is part of a reconciliation effort with the League of the Righteous, but the real aim appears to be the release of five British hostages who were captured by the group.

"As part of a reconciliation effort between the government of Iraq and Asaib al Haq, the decision has been made to release Laith Qazali," Lieutenant Colonel Brian Maka told The New York Times. "Asaib al Haq has pledged to representatives of the Iraqi prime minister to give up violence and move the group towards peaceful integration into Iraqi society. An unconditional cease-fire will be undertaken by the group."

But the League of the Righteous has long demanded that the US military release Qais, Laith, and other members of the terror group in exchange for the five Britons captured in March 2007 during another complex operation at Iraq's Finance Ministry.

The real purpose of the release of Laith was explained by Sami al Askari, a spokesman for Prime minister Nouri al Maliki. The issue of reconciliation is merely a pretext for a prisoner / hostage exchange.

"This is a very sensitive topic because you know the position that the Iraqi government, the U.S. and British governments, and all the governments do not accept the idea of exchanging hostages for prisoners," Askari told The New York Times. "So we put it in another format, and we told them that if they want to participate in the political process they cannot do so while they are holding hostages. And we mentioned to the American side that they cannot join in the political process and release their hostages while their leaders are behind bars or imprisoned."

A one-to-one exchange of Shia terrorists for the British hostages will take place over the next week. It is unclear if Qais or Daqduq will be released in the exchange, but in the past, the League of the Righteous has been adamant that they be released.

The release of the League of the Qazalis and other senior leaders of the terror group does not bode well for the improved security situation in Baghdad and wider Iraq as the US prepares to withdraw from Iraq's cities. The Iraqi military dealt the terror group and its Iranian backers a deadly blow during the offensive against the Shia terror groups in central and southern Iraq that began in Basrah in March 2008 and resulted in thousands of Mahdi Army fighters killed and thousands more wounded, and the death of several of its senior military leadership. The movement itself was fractured and was forced to pull out from provincial elections.

The League of the Righteous still conducts operations against Iraqi and US forces in Baghdad and central and southern Iraq. The group has not honored previous ceasefire agreements, and the release of its senior leadership may give the group new life.

Both the Iraqi government and the US military have said Iran has backed various Shia terror groups, including elements of the Mahdi Army. While the Iranian government has denied the charges, Iraqi and US forces have detained dozens of Iranian Qods Force officers and operatives, captured numerous Shia terrorist leaders under Iranian command, and have found ample documentation as well as Iranian-made and Iranian-supplied weapons.

US and Iraqi forces have captured several high-level Qods Force officers inside Iraq since late 2006. Among those captured are Mahmud Farhadi, one of the three Iranian regional commanders in the Ramazan Corps; Ali Mussa Daqduq, a senior Lebanese Hezbollah operative; Qais Qazali, the leader of the Qazali Network which is better known as the Asaib al Haq or the League of the Righteous.

Since mid-October 2008, Iraqi and US forces have killed one Qods Force operative and captured 14 during raids throughout southern and central Iraq.

Qods Force, the special operations branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, has supported various Shia militias and terror groups inside Iraq, including the Mahdi Army. Qods Force helped to build the Mahdi Army along the same lines as Lebanese Hezbollah. Iran denies the charges, but captive Shia terrorists admit to being recruited by Iranian agents and then transported into Iran for training.

Iran established the Ramazan Corps immediately after the fall of Saddam Hussein's regime to direct operations inside Iraq. The US military says Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah have helped establish, fund, train, arm, and provide operational support for Shia terror groups such as the Hezbollah Brigades and the League of the Righteous. The US military refers to these groups as well as the Iranian-backed elements of the Mahdi Army as the "Special Groups." These groups train in camps inside Iran.

US military officers believe that Iran is ramping up its operations inside Iraq after its surrogates suffered a major defeat at the hands of the Iraqi military during the spring and summer of 2008. Iraqi troops went on the offensive against the Mahdi Army and other Iranian-backed terror groups in Baghdad, Basrah, and central and southern Iraq. More than 2,000 Mahdi Army members were killed and thousands more were wounded.

The League of the Righteous receives funding, training, weapons, and direction from the Qods Force. The League of the Righteous conducts attacks with the deadly armor-piercing explosively formed projectiles known as EFPs, as well as with the more conventional roadside bombs.

The size of the League of the Righteous is unknown, but hundreds of members of the group were killed, captured, or fled to Iran during the Iraqi government offensive against the Mahdi Army from March to July of 2008, according to the US military.

Sadr is looking to pull the rank and file of the League back into the fold of the Sadr political movement. Earlier this year Sadr issued a message rejecting the US-Iraqi security agreement and said he "extends his hand to the mujahideen in the so-called Asaib but not their leaderships who have been distracted by politics and mortal life from the [two late] Sadrs and the interests of Iraq and Iraqis."

The Hezbollah Brigades, or Kata'ib Hezbollah, has been active in and around Baghdad for more than a year. The terror group has increased its profile by conducting attacks against US and Iraqi forces, using the deadly explosively-formed penetrator land mines and improvised rocket-assisted mortars, which have been described as flying improvised explosive devices. The Hezbollah Brigades has posted videos of these attacks on the Internet.

The terror group is an offshoot of the Iranian-trained Special Groups, the US military said last summer. Hezbollah Brigades receives funding, training, logistics, guidance, and material support from the Qods Force.

The US and Iraqi military believe the Special Groups are preparing to re-initiate fighting as their leaders and operatives are beginning to filter back into Iraq from Iran. On Feb. 4, Lieutenant General Lloyd Austin, the deputy commander of Multinational Forces Iraq, said that Iran continues to arm, fund, and train the Special Groups, and that munitions traced back to Iran continue to be uncovered in Iraq. Recent intelligence and the finds of new Iranian caches "lead us to believe that Iranian support activity is still ongoing," Austin warned.

In my not so humble opinion, this is just another example of the way the Obama administration is making our country and our troops in harms way less safe. This is all wrong, and it must stop!!

THE PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH BEING UNINFORMED

Monday, April 27, 2009

The problem that I have whenever I think of the disturbing things that are occurring in the USA today. Economic meltdown, spending by Congress out of control, weakening of our defense capability and the rapid erosion of personal liberty. I think that the fact that anyone under the age of fifty(50) has never experienced a war allows a mind set that denies the horrors and sacrifices of war.
Being a senior citizen who witnessed from afar the great struggle of WWII,including rationing of food and gasoline, and personally being involved in the Korean war has given me a perspective that my children and grand children have not had.

Because those of us who lived through "declared" war experienced the possibility that we might actually loose the war, and the real possibility that you or one of your loved ones would be killed brings a perspective of dread and angst to mind about those who were the enemies we fought. Japanese and Germans were demonized in the media and we all believed anything was allowed as long as we win the war!

Today only those who lost loved ones on 9/11/01, and those who lost men or women in Iraq and Afghanistan can related to what was an ever day event from 1941 to 1945. Even the death of civilians and hero's in uniform from 2001 to today has apparently not had the impact on the populace, as those of us who lived through WWII. A time when casualties on the Island of Tarawa in a 76 hour period were 3,000! One thousand Marines were killed by the Japanese, and two thousand wounded. This produced 1000 telegrams to anxious loved ones that brought war home with a sudden clarity and grief! And the flag in the front window was changed from a blue star to a gold star!

Today the total killed in action in Iraq and Afghanistan, and by terrorist action
on 9/11/01 is less than the KIA's in the battle for IWO JIMA! 6,821 Marines were killed in 35 days! This statistic is not mentioned to deprecate the loss of life in Iraq and Afghanistan, but to highlight the terrible horrors that Americans experienced daily for four years. And there was no sympathy for the enemy as is seen by the left in today's media frenzy over water boarding of terrorist who were captured, and imprisoned in Iraq.

You can call it selective transparency as do the Obamaphiles. But I believe it is that time has made the Americans forget that war is a fight to the death for us or the enemy. It is not a video game or TV series. War is horrific and destroys bodies and minds. You win if you inflict more violence on the enemy than he does on you!

Despite the fact that the Bush administration succeeded with the interrogation policy in question, when it comes to Left-partisan politics, no good deed goes unpunished. The water boarding did produce valuable information that prevented loss of life, and compared with the terrorist cutting off heads of their captives is not even in the same category.

A perfect example of the naivety that comes with the lack of experience is the speech that president Obama gave to the CIA recently regarding water boarding.
"I have put an end to the interrogation techniques described in those OLC memos, and I want to be very clear and very blunt. I've done so for a simple reason: because I believe that our nation is stronger and more secure when we deploy the full measure of both our power and the power of our values -- including the rule of law."
Tell me how we are safer when you announce to the world that you will treat terrorist prisoners better than the average American prisoner is treated in our prison system. Do we supply special meals for Kosher Jews? We supply prayer blankets, Korans and Islamic dietary foods to the prisoners in that terrible place called Gitmo!

War is Hell, and the rules of engagement do not specify that we must treat the enemy in a humane way when we kill him before he kills you. People should realize that talk is cheaper than cheap, but the nasty truth is that the only way to defeat an enemy is to be tougher on him then he is on you. All this talk of what the world thinks of us disappears when you face the enemy on the field of war!

"Values"? Like the values which form Obama's "vision for America." are "pie in the sky" values that should not even be considered in a time at war!

"Rule of law"? Everything the Obama administration has done and plans to do is an affront to constitutional Rule of Law. He has announced to the world and Al Qaeda, that we are a country of debaters not fighters! We might as well surrender now!

In fact, the the releasing the memos publicly accomplished two things immediately. First, it gave our enemies an exact knowledge of exactly how far our interrogations are allowed to go, which means that even where we have probable evidence that a captured jihadi has first hand knowledge of an imminent strike, there's absolutely no weapons left that the interrogator has to use when questioning a terrorist captive. And the president believes this makes us safer?

NAPOLITANO SHOULD BE FIRED!

In all my years on earth the two worst insults to the military personnel have occurred in the past few years.
First there was now Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton , calling general Petraeus a LIAR. And now the most outrageous insult has been uttered and re-enforced by the Mean Stream Media. Janet Napolitano has issued a report that says returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan are prone to acts of terrorism! Of course she defended the report by saying that it was done during the Bush administration. When in doubt blame Bush seems to be the mantra of the Obama cadre. But why was it not made public until the Tea Parties were launched?

She went into detail about their training in deadly weapons, and the fact that they may not fit in with the difficult economy we are having, and are prone to join Right Wing Terrorist groups.
She and her boss, Obama, don't think that calling the real terrorists who are waging a Jihad against the USA, is appropriate.
But she has decided to call Americans veterans potential terrorists!
Yes I remember Tim McVey, but I also remember two terrorists who are now professors named Ayers and Dorn who ignited a bomb on a military base. These are real home grown terrorists, and proud of it!

It is strange that this warning was circulated at the same time that the Tea Parties were held in every State to protest the massive spending of the Congress and the President.

The report the Homeland Security Secretary sent to all law enforcement agencies in the United States included these words: "Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to right wing extremists. DHS/I&A is concerned that right wing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to boost their violent capabilities".

Has anyone - besides me - noticed that despite the fact that most violent crimes, most violent protests, and most radical acts of terror in America, are NOT committed by your average white Americans, or even the average Republican, there is NO reference to “Left wing” or “Black Panther” styled radicalism here???

Those seeking to rob fellow Americans of their hard earned property in the name of a greater communal good, are no threat to America at all.? Only those who oppose the Marxist efforts qualify as dangerous “domestic terrorists” under Obama’s DHS. Those who commit voter fraud on a massive scale like Obama’s ACORN are no problem. But those who oppose it are “racists,” and a “dangerous threat.”

In short, if you still foolishly believe in the Founding documents as they were written and ratified, oppose an oppressive federal government run by unbridled Marxists, cling to your bibles and guns, affirm the unalienable individual Rights to Life, Liberty, or the Pursuit of Happiness, or national sovereignty as established in the Founders Declaration of Independence, you are now a “domestic terrorist!”

This apparently hateful woman should be fired for her attack on the tens of thousands of brave and honorable men and woman who have and are still fighting the real war against terrorism!

THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION'S NEW ATTITUTED TOWARD TERRORISTS

ARE WE HEADED FOR ANOTHER TERRORIST DISASTER?

On September 12, 2001 the whole country was alert and anxious to retaliate against those who committed the dastardly act in New york and Washington. But the fear and anger gradually turned to apathy and antagonism toward President "George Bush"s War".
The media and academia along with the "grown up" hippies of the anti-war 60's kept up a steady drum beat for withdrawal from Iraq and the need for Change.

The electorate turned against Bush and the Republicans, and the result was the election of the well spoken junior Senator from Illinois who offered withdrawal from Iraq and the closing of Guantanamo Prison camp. His motto was Change.
Barack Obama made 510 promises when he was running for president, a list that is stunning in its scope and leaves almost no part of the executive branch untouched, according to a new analysis by PolitiFact.
The analysis found that Obama made more than twice as many promises as George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, whose campaign pledges were examined by other news organizations. Bush made 177 promises in 2000 and Clinton made 204 in 1992, as reported by the Knight Ridder Washington Bureau (now McClatchy).

Obama made sweeping promises like ending the Iraq war and cutting taxes on the middle class, and narrow ones like establishing programs to help animals survive global warming, weatherizing 1 million low-income homes per year and increasing tax deductions for artists.Specific promises like ending the tax breaks for the "rich",

The promises reflect a philosophy that government can, and perhaps should, play a role in solving problems at all levels.
• Obama calls for more regulation, new agencies and at least 11 new groups that would have "corps" in their name, including: an America's Voice Corps to foster international diplomacy; an Artists Corps to work in low-income schools and communities; and a Health Corps to improve public health.

• Of the 510 promises, most deal with foreign policy (87); followed by health (76); the environment (59) and energy (51). He's also fond of transparency (33) and government efficiency (32).

• He likes advice. We found he plans to create at least 10 new advisers such as a director of urban policy, a special adviser on violence against women, the nation's first chief technology officer and an American Indian policy adviser.

• Even before the need arose for a major economic stimulus bill, Obama proposed hundreds of billions in new spending. His ideas include $150 billion over 10 years on green initiatives, $60 billion for roads and bridges; $50 billion for the global fight against AIDS; and $25 billion more in foreign aid. He also promised billions in cost savings by ending the war in Iraq, reducing earmarks and reforming federal contracting, to name a few.

• He likes green. Overall, Obama hopes to create 5 million "green" jobs as part of a more energy-efficient economy. He wants to retrofit federal buildings to save energy. For veterans, there's a "Green Vet Initiative" to help vets get jobs in renewable energy. He even has a plan to help spur a "Green Revolution" in Africa.

Obama's high level of detail — and the large number of promises — reflects the need for a newcomer to establish his credibility.

"Obama was relatively unknown at the national level," said Martha Joynt Kumar, a professor of political science at Towson University, "so he had to have a greater degree of specificity about what his plans were. You've got to let people know who you are."

Although at times ridiculed by opponents as little more than a gifted speaker who emphasized abstract platitudes like "change," Obama and his policy team laid out an extremely detailed agenda for America. He was well-known for his pledge to end the war in Iraq, but his position paper on the issue details eight other promises, including a specific pledge to provide at least $2 billion to assist Iraqi refugees. Likewise, his broad health care plan includes a pledge to name a coordinator to oversee all federal efforts to combat autism.

Lost in all this plan for the USA becoming a "welfare state", is the ever growing threat from radical Muslims. He has even dictated that the words "enemy combatant"not be used in any government communication to the public.

Then he nominated and the Senate confirmed the ex-governor of Arizona, Janet Napolitano, 51, as new Homeland Security Secretary.
This is the woman that said when asked about the building of a high fence to keep out illegals. "Show me a 50 foot high fence and I will show you a 51 foot ladder"!
She was interviewed in Berlin recently on her visit to Germany to consult with German officials about their experience with "home grown" terrorists.
She contributed this revealing insight into the way the Obama administration views the terrorist threat to the USA.

"In some ways, the problem( terrorist) in Europe is greater than in the United States. But the questions are the same. How do you identify a youth who is susceptible to becoming radicalized? How do you work with that youth, his family and community to give them alternatives to radicalization?
You have to avoid over-simplification from the far right and from the far left. Ultimately, you need to deal with the underlying immigration law and a reasonable immigration policy. At some point, when the time is appropriate, our president and congress will re-engage on the underlying immigration law. Right now, my task is to make smart enforcement decisions on the law that we have.
I presume there is always a threat from terrorism. In my speech, although I did not use the word "terrorism," I referred to "man-caused" disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur".

Secretary, it is more than "nuance"! What you and  President Obama are doing is reducing the threat of Radical Muslim terrorists to that of a criminal event that can happen on any street in America every day. This over simplification in the day of nuclear weapons small enough to put in a suitcase that could wipe out whole cities and it is almost criminal!

IF ONLY THE SECURITY POLICE WERE ALLOWED TO CARRY GUNS!

BEING WELL PREPARED AND WELL ARMED ARE THE KEYS TO SAFETY

If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, it expects what never was and will never be. ~ Thomas Jefferson

At least 10 terrorists, having arrived by small craft on the shores of Mumbai, began to sow death and destruction at will across India's financial capital. They were at a distinct advantage because of the lack of fire power in those charged with security and the police force within the City of Mumbi.

What resulted was three days of battle between well armed Muslim terrorists and poorly armed security force. What happened in Mumbai shows just how a small but ruthless group of skilled militants, attacking multiple targets in quick succession, managed to bring one of the world's largest cities to its knees. The human toll -- currently at 174 fatalities, including nine terrorists -- was exacerbated by the Indian authorities' lack of preparedness, and failure to arm those charged with securing the safety of the citizens and visitors to this vacation "paradise" close to the Taj Mahal. The chain of events also points to just how vulnerable any major city can be to this type of urban warfare if it is not prepared!

At about 9:45 p.m., two gunmen, slender and in their mid-20s, ran up the circular driveway at the entrance to the Trident Hotel. They shot the security guard and two bellhops. The hotel had metal detectors, but none of its security personnel carried weapons because of the difficulties in obtaining gun permits from the Indian government, according to the hotel company's chairman, P.R.S. Oberoi. The gunmen raced through the marble-floored lobby, past the grand piano into the adjoining Veranda restaurant, firing at the guests and shattering the windows.

At the end of the lobby, they burst into a bar called the Opium Den, shooting dead a hotel staff member. Then they ran after a group of guests who tried to escape through a rear service area. They killed them, too.

They killed four of six friends who live in south Mumbai and had just settled down at a table near the front door. One member of the group, a mother of two, threw herself to the ground and shut her eyes, pretending to be dead. The men circled the restaurant, firing at point blank range into anyone who moved before rushing upstairs to an Indian restaurant called Kandahar.

"Remember Babri Masjid?" one of the gunmen shouted, referring to a 16th-century mosque built by India's first Mughal Muslim emperor and destroyed by Hindu radicals in 1992.
The policemen were badly outgunned. The gunmen killed one officer and escaped down the stairs, into a narrow alley that separates Cama Hospital from another hospital called GT.

In the alley, the state of Maharashtra's anti terrorism chief, Hemant Karkare, sat in a police SUV packed with fellow officers, trying to coordinate a response to the mayhem engulfing the city. Creeping up, the two militants sprayed the vehicle with gunfire.

The officers appear to have died before any of them had a chance to fire back. The wall and metal blinds behind the van's spot are riddled with bullets. Not a single bullet mark could be seen by a reporter in the area from which the terrorists fired.

B.S. Sidhu, head of the Railway Protection Force for the Mumbai region, says that while some officers tried to fight back, there was little his force could do. Most police officers at the station -- as they are throughout India -- were unarmed or carried only bamboo sticks known as lathis. More than 40 people, including three police officers, were killed in just a few minutes, authorities said. The wounded survivors screamed for help amid acrid smoke, piles of slumped, bloodied bodies and spilling suitcases.SOURCE:Niraj Sheth in Mumbai and Krishna Pokharel in New Delhi

Here in the USA there are those who would take away the firearms of the citizens, a right guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. This massacre that happened in a vacation city in India could have been snipped in the bud if there were not only armed police, but a few dozen inhabitants who had the right to keep guns in their place of business and homes. The terrorists knew full well that the resistance would be minimal at best, because of the Pacifist nature of Indian authorities.

Let us not give in to those who would take away our guns. Then only criminals would have guns, and thank God we have a semi-vigilant Homeland Security force. If we let down our guard and follow those who believe They can just talk to terrorist and everything will be alright. We will have the carnage that was wrought upon the people in Mumbi.
The price of freedom is vigilance a smart man once said!

WE DON'T BARGAIN WITH TERORISTS, WHY DO IT WITH PIRATES

It is the policy of the USA to not give in to terrorist demands, even when they kidnap Americans. The recent history of terrorist atrocities has included a new element of terror. The Waters off the African coast of Somalia has become the home of the 21st Century pirates.
In the past few years Somalia war lords have successfully pirated a dozen vessels and received 300 million dollars in ransom. The vessels are being held in Eyl, a port town in the semi-autonomous region of Puntland, Somalia.

Today off the Somali coast the pirates hold a Belize flagged, Ukrainian ship filled with 33 Russian tanks, and military weapons. While five US warships steam helplessly just over the horizon, and a Russian frigate is steaming at flank speed to join the watchers, the pirates demand 20million dollars to release the ship!

In my opinion there is no reason for allowing this drama to persist.
Piracy in Somalia is nothing new, as bandits have stalked the seas for years. But this year's surge in attacks, nearly 30 so far,has prompted an unprecedented international response. The Faina has been the highest-profile attack because of its dangerous cargo. The U.S. fears the arms could end up in the hands of al-Qaida-linked militants in a country seen as a key battleground on terror.source:AP News

The United States has been leading international patrols to combat piracy along Somalia's unruly 1,880-mile coast, the longest in Africa and near key shipping routes. In June, the U.N. Security Council passed a resolution that would allow countries to chase and arrest pirates after attacks increased this year.Blogger note: why do we need UN approval?

An analyst in Washington, said that unless the roots of the problem are solved _ poverty, disease, violence _ piracy will only flourish. "You have a population that is frustrated, alienated, angry and hopeless," Dagne said. "This generation of Somalis grew up surrounded by abject poverty and violence."

I beg to differ. The excuse all liberals have for crime is poverty. The implication being that if we eliminate poverty violent criminals will stop their criminal activities. The largest American cities where welfare has been heaped on the citizens, Chicago, Detroit, LA and New York, still have high crime rates. Some of the most heinous serial killers have been from families that were not what we call poor.
Jeffry Damler, killed 17 boys in Milwaukee, Ted Bundy, a law student, killed 35 women in Florida,Gerard Schaefer was a police officer in Florida,he killed 30 women while on the force. And in England, a medical dotor, Harold Shioman killed 215 people, In Russia, Andre Chikatilo killed 52 women. He was a skilled telephone engineer.I could list more , but you get my point. Many people suffer the cross of poverty, and personal abuse as a child and do not become criminals. The answer is to make it not profitable to be a criminal!

The way to eliminate crime and terrorists is not to reward their behavior, but to make our reaction to crimes so drastic that it deters the potential criminal. You cannot kill them all, but if we stand by and do nothing we are only playing their game by their rules!

Knowing the ship is in international waters and carries weapons of population destruction that our intelligence tells us are destined to be in the hands of Muslim terrorists. We should announce to the terrorist that they have one hour to give up, or we will sink the ship and all it's contents! A couple of torpedoes would do the job!

If you think this is too violent I remind you of what happened in Beirut on October 23,1983. Why did over 240 Marines and sailors die while performing a mission described as peacekeeping and non-combatant?
The answer is both simple and complex at the same time. Terrorism defies the normal application of logic and reason. It transcends the bounds of human decency and makes a
mockery of any semblance of morality. It respects no laws, beliefs, or norms. It is ruthless, mindless violence designed to shock and horrify both its victims and its
audience. It is effective. It is here to stay! Unless we act and not participate in the watch and wait game!

To better understand our specific national policy regarding terrorism, the following three principles are
listed.
(1) All terrorist actions are criminal and intolerable whatever their motivation, and
should be condemned.
(2) All lawful measures to prevent such acts and to bring to justice those who commit them will be taken.
(3) No concessions to terrorist blackmail will be made, because to do so will merely invite further demands.

A DOUBLE STANDARD WHEN IT COMES TO NAME CALLING!!!

Thursday, August 21, 2008

NO REASON TO NOT CALL A TERRORIST BY HIS REAL NAME!

THE DEMOCRATS HAVE NO COMPUNCTION TO USING PEJORATIVE NAMES FOR REPUBLICANS.Such names as "liar" for General Petreaus by Hillary Clinton come to mind, and the same can be said for most Democrats description of President Bush's involvement in the war in Iraq.
But for some twisted form of logic the Democrats seem to feel it is offensive to refer to those who cut off heads, blow up civilians and use all manner of barbaric torture, as Jihadists, Islamists, and assorted other names that rightly identify the people who are waging World War III against the rest of the non-Muslim World.

A New York born, now Congress woman from California's 36th district is leading the move to pass a Bill forbidding the use of such terms. Jane Harmon is a seven term Congress person who is notable for her votes against "the Defense of Marriage Act", Forbidding Partial Birth Abortion, and Bills banning Indecent Broadcasting.
Yet, she is objecting to the calling of people whose goal is to convert or Kill as all, Jihadists!! A name they proudly claim they themselves are as defined in their version of the Bible.

The following is a quote from the "Investigative Project on Terrorism."
"In fighting Jihad, America's greatest challenge remains understanding and confronting the ideology that provides the basis for Jihadist terrorism. Efforts to clearly define this enemy ideology recently have been undermined by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), and the State Department in promoting a "terror lexicon" that recommends federal government employees avoid terms such as "jihad," "jihadist," "Islamist," "mujahideen," and "caliphate" when addressing issues involving terrorism. The argument made by the DHS, NCTC, and others is that the use of such terms will aid in the "recruitment" of Muslims to join terrorist organizations, or will alternatively provide "legitimacy" to religious aspects of terrorist efforts.

However, this tactical approach to create a "terror lexicon" to ban such terms used in federal government terrorism reports and the 9/11 Commission report undermines the strategic efforts to identify, understand, and confront the ideology that is the root challenge in a war of ideas against Jihad. And, as Bill West points out, it can also open the door to some unintended consequences for law enforcement.

Congressmen Peter Hoekstra (R-MI) has been an outspoken critic of such "terror lexicon" efforts, and was the leader of an amendment to the House of Representatives' 2009 Intelligence funding bill to prevent government funding from supporting such activities. On July 16, 2008, the House passed (by voice vote) House Resolution 5959 "Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009," which included Congressman Hoekstra's amendment (Section 507 'Jihadists')".

Harmons rational for opposing this Bill illustrates the twisted logic of the Liberal mind. "In the House debate on this amendment, Congressional advocates of the "terror lexicon" such as Congresswoman Jane Harman (D-CA) reiterated the DHS fears that "we not use language that inflames." She said she was not trying to invoke political correctness or censorship, yet expressed concern that the language might alienate those already hostile toward us:"
Note to Congresswoman Harmon! They have already demonstrated their hatred and alienation for us on 9/11/91 and in the bombing of the Marine base, trying to sink the USS Cole . I could go on, but any right thinking person knows that soft words will not change these terrorists one iota!!!

And if you need one more illustration of the barbarism of the Muslim dominated, Sharia governed ideology. I offer this news fow the Kuait Times. In Saudia Arabia, yesterday, two people were beheaded in public, for drug trafficing!!
Muslim Sharia law in Saudi Arab allows the death penalty, beheading by sword, for the following crimes. Rape, Murder, Armed Robbery, Drug Trafficing, and Apostacy.
There have been 153 beheadings in Saudi Arabia so far this year!

For those who are confused about Apostacy, I offer the following from Wikapedia:
"apostasy is called "ridda" ("turning back") and is considered to be a profound insult to God. A person born of Muslim parents that rejects Islam is called a "murtad fitri" (natural apostate), and a person that converted to Islam and later rejects the religion is called a "murtad milli" (apostate from the community).
The appropriate penalty for apostasy in Islam (i.e. in the Qur'an or under shariah law) is the enforcement of harsh penalties against apostasy for hundreds of years.
According to most scholars, if a Muslim consciously and without coercion declares their rejection of Islam and does not change their mind after the time given to him/her by a judge for research, then the penalty for male apostates is death".

What the people like Harmon are advocating will only aid the coming of the day when our grandchildren will awaken one day and find that the Judeo-Christian based laws have been replaced by Sharia!!

SUPREM COURRT SIDES WITH TERRORISTS

A KAMIKAZE SUPREME COURT

During World War II, the leaders of the Japanese military and those surrounding the Emperor were followers of the Shinto cult. Japan also had Buddhists, Confucius followers and few other sects, but the Shinto's ruled.
Shinto's asserted Japan's superiority over all other nations. It maintained that the Japanese rulers, and the Japanese in general, were descended from the Sun Goddess. Emperor Hirohito (before his spectacular postwar rehabilitation at the hands of the General MacArthur and the U.S. Occupation) was reviled in wartime America.

The willingness of the Japanese soldiers, particularly the kamikaze (the " Devine wind of the gods" suicide pilots)to sacrifice themselves for the emperor was devastating. This fervor killed many thousand American troops, and disgusted and terrified Americans.

Fast forward 63 years, and we have another kind of religious warrior. The Muslim terrorist bomber, who straps on explosives and walks into a crowded public place and blows himself and everything and every body around him/her to eternity!
This new version of a Kamikaze does not fly an airplane loaded only with enough gas to get him to his target, and the rest of the plane filled with explosives. He/she is the instrument of destruction! In both the Japanese and Muslim situations it is a warped religious fervor that allows them to perform their heinous acts.

Today we here in the USA, have a very un-supreme court that is playing the role of a Kamikaze on the instrument that was the foundation of the this free country. The Constitution! The ruling passed down last week on Boumediene vs. Bush by the Kennedy led court, was as much of a destruction to our Constitutional as was the Kamikaze plane that slammed into the Bunker Hill aircraft carrier in 1944!

Prior to this left wing attack on the Constitution, aliens had no rights under the Constitution that guides and protects citizens of the United States of America. But with a stoke of Kennedy's pen, non-citizens who have never set foot in the United States, even alleged terrorist aliens, get special constitutional privileges because they were caught trying to kill Americans.

Justice Anthony Kennedy, writing for Justices John Paul Stevens, David Souter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Stephen Breyer, all leftists who vote as a block, dictated that Americans must regard enemies as if they were just criminal defendants, entitled to an exacting legal process including access to discovery, witnesses, counsel, etc.—This decision will make it impossible to detain them without shutting down interrogations prematurely and possibly informing the enemy of our national-defense secrets. I ask you, what was their justification for this decision, other than a fervor for the Deity of the Left. Destruction of our Constitution, and to substitute One World Government!
"The runaway" justices say that foreign AL-Qaeda killers, detained in Cuba can have access to the federal district courts and demand what, suddenly, are their unearned Constitutional rights.

In those courts, judges emboldened by the high court’s usurpation of Congressional and Presidential war powers, may be emboldened to make decisions as they go along: More access to classified information? Subpoenas commanding the testimony (and cross-examination) of our soldiers regarding the circumstances of capture? Miranda warnings? Prompt access to counsel, speedy trial ad nausea.

Sensational trials in the criminal-justice system with the same presumptions of innocence, privacy, and other privileges vested in American citizens? And who will adjudicate the resulting mess? Our imperial court, of course.” source:—National Review

We are at war, At least 75 Senators, including Kerry and Hillary and 296 Congressmen voted for the war in Iraq. During combat approximately 10,000 prisoners have been captured. Of this group about 800 have been sent to Guantanamo, Cuba where they can be interrogated to obtain information that might save the lives of the men and women who are voluntarily in Iraq and Afghanistan to fight the terrorists.
Since their capture 100 plus prisoners have ben released with a promise they would not return to the war sites. Intelligence reveals that at least 30 have returned to Iraq to kill more Americans!

If what the "Kennedy five" did with their decision was not the equivalent of Judicial murder,it was a bold attack on the war effort that we must win. That makes the Kennedy sycophants at the very least, giving aid and comfort to the enemy!

the judiciary simply has no power over enemy combatants in wartime. Such power is committed to the executive as part of the commander in chief's power, and thus implicitly denied to the judiciary, just as is the power to declare war is unilaterally committed to Congress.
Kennedy's ruling thus effectively overturned the congressional declaration of war -- the use of force resolution voted for by Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, 75 other senators as well as 296 congressmen. If there's no war, then there are no enemy combatants. This is the diabolical arrogance of Kennedy's opinion.

THE FINAL QUESTION WE MUST ASK OURSELVES, IS DOES CONGRESS DECIDE WHEN WE GO TO WAR, OR DOES THE SUPREME COURT? AND AFTER WE ARE AT WAR, DOES THE COURT HAVE THE RIGHT, UNDER THE CONSTITUTION, TO DECLARE THAT INCARCERATED PRISONERS ARE ENTITLED TO OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE NEVER IN THIS COUNTRY UNTIL CAPTURED?

THE SUPREME REASON NOT TO VOTE FOR OBAMA

Saturday, June 14, 2008

Please pray for our Patriot Armed Forces standing in harm’s way around the world, and for their families, especially those of our fallen Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, who have died in defense of American liberty while prosecuting the war with Jihadistan.

For years as a child, when traveling in my parents car to visit my mothers parents in farm country.I would see billboards loudly proclaiming "Impeach Earl Warren". I thought they were strange, so I asked my father who Warren was and why did they want to "impeach him? He responded that, President Eisenhower nominated Warren for the Supreme Court, despite the fact that Warren had no prior judicial experience.

Despite his lack of qualifications, he was sworn in as Chief Justice on 5 October 1953. During his tenure, the Supreme Court ruled on
BROWN VS BOARD OF EDUCATION(1954) AND MIRANDA VS ARIZONA(1966).
Both decisions were monumental and controversial at he time of he decisions. Thus the signs were posted by those who believed Warren was a liberal taking the Country the wrong way.

Compared with what the five leftist judges did this week, the Warren Court seems almost conservative. The Supreme Court Justices are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate. The "supremes" have lately been acting as though were real SUPREMOS beings, with Almighty power over the Constitution of the United States.
Their decision to grant the same rights to suspected terrorists captured during a time of war, is a heinous distortion of rational thought.

These prisoners held captive in Guantanamo Bay are not citizens! If anything, they are terrorists waiting for the opportunity to deal a deadly blow against America.
Despite this, the un-supreme court, has with a bizarre decision, granted these prisoners the same rights that, those of us who are citizens have as a birth right!

It is at a time like this that a quote from Abraham Lincoln should be recalled. "We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution."

Over throwing five Supreme Court Justices is an effort that would be almost impossible to accomplish. But we can do one thing in November. WE can be sure that we don't allow a man who has spent much of his pre-Washington days associating with known Marxists, and has since being elected to the U.S. Senate, amassed the most liberal voting record of all the Senators.

If we wish to give what is left of our freedom away, one decision at a time. We will elect OHObama in the Presidential election in November.

The five justices of the Supreme Court have so foolishly and treasonously given the US Constitution extra-territorial effect, and applied civilian criminal law theories to the battlefield, where military law and the law of war (quite different from civilian criminal law) is the appropriate standard. This is what comes of appointing agenda-driven lawyers for the ACLU,and Obama would only contribute more of the same!

So those of us who cherish our freedoms, must put aside all other political items being mentioned in the campaign and vote to keep the Supreme Court out of the hands of the Marxist/Leninist of the American left. Vote against Obama, if not for McCain!

OBAMA'S FRIENDS TELL A DIFFERENT STORY THAN HE SPINS

HOW LONG CAN HATRED REMAIN UNCOVERED?

Little by little facts are being revealed on the internet, never to be seen on TV or in the print media, that Obama has some very hateful supporters and friends.

Fist there was the leak that Rev. Wright was a racist white hater who blamed all Black Americans ills on KKKamerica. Then the news that Obama and his wife were close friends with indicted criminal Tony Rezko in Chicago. Now comes the news of his long time association with former terrorists. Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, former members of The Weatherman!

First, the hatred spewn from Wright's pulpit is a doctrine that is the inspiration of James Hal Cone, a professor of “Systematic Theology??  at Union Theological Seminary in New York City. Cone is also the author of several books, which a tendentious Wright urged Sean Hannity to read during a recent interview. It’s a useful suggestion. For example, there is Cone’s 1969 opus, Black Theology and Black Power, in which he helpfully explains:
"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community.... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love". And they call this a Christian religion?

Black liberation theology, as Wright has elaborated, is closely aligned with the “liberation theology??  of Nicaragua during the seventies and eighties: i.e., the doctrine that catalyzed Marxist revolutionaries. It spurred an unabashedly Leftist movement that emphasized, you guessed it, the crying need for “change??  — as George Russell aptly described it in a 2001 Time magazine analysis, “social change in the process of spiritual improvement.??

Old time Obama associate Bill Ayers is a self-confessed criminal and a violent one at that. Although he has not been convicted or imprisoned, he has not reformed himself or offered a critique of his past that is anything but self-congratulatory. Despite all this he is a professor at the University of Illinois. This tells me a lot about the mind set today of major Universities.

Ayers didn’t just carry a sign outside the Pentagon on May 19, 1972. He bombed it. As his memoir gleefully recalled, “Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon. The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the b*st**ds were finally going to get what was coming to them.??  Whether Pentagon bombing day was more or less ideal than other days, when he, Bernadine Dohrn and their Weathermen comrades bombed the U.S. Capitol, the State Department, and sundry banks, police stations and courthouses, Ayers does not say. But on each occasion, there was surely optimism that the b*st**ds were finally going to get what was coming to them.

“I don’t regret setting bombs,??  he told the New York Times in 2001, sorry only that he and the others “didn’t do enough.??  Like what? We can’t be sure, though National Review Online’s Jonah Goldberg recounts Ayers’s sentiments back in the day: “Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that’s where it’s really at".

It was at the Chicago home of Ayers and his wife Dohrn, that Obama, then an up-and-coming “community organizer, had his political coming out party in 1995. Not content with this rite of passage in Lefty World — where unrepentant terrorists are regarded as progressive luminaries, still working “only to educate?? (aka pollute the minds) — both Obamas continued their relationship with the Ayers.

In 2002 , Ayers and Obama voted to donate $75,000 of the money they controlled in the Community Action Group to the Arab American Action Network. The AAAN was co-founded by Rashid Khalidi, a longtime supporter of Palestinian “resistance??  attacks against Israel, which he openly regards as a racist, apartheid state. Despite considerable evidence to the contrary, Khalidi denies having been a PLO operative or having directed its official press agency for six years (from 1976 to 1982).

Obama was front and center with Ayers and Dohrn at a farewell "bash" when Khalidi left Chicago for New York. Khalidi had hosted a fundraiser for Obama in 2000, when the latter launched his unsuccessful campaign for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

A few weeks ago, Khalidi told WorldNetDaily.com he supports Obama’s presidential run “because he is the only candidate who has expressed sympathy for the Palestinian cause,??  and because Obama has promised negotiations with Iran".

SOURCE:ANDREW C. McCARTHY

And despite all this, the American Jewish populace and the Jewish Congressmen/women and Senators still seem to support Obama's quest for the Oval Office. Go figure?
