IF ONLY OUR MEDIA WAS UNBIASED!

It is not often that I read the stories printed in the latest edition of Pravda. It is not required reading for this fiscal conservative as it might be for the memers of the CPOA.
But thanks to the Drudge report, I visited the Pravda web site today, and I read an article that illustrates to me that the former Communist propaganda vehicle for the "CCCP", the Communist Party of Russia, realizes what is going on in the United States more succinctly than most Americans.
This is due to the fact that our Main Stream media has put to the "spike" any story or news that would awaken readers and viewers of the rapid pace that Obama is making the Change he promised voters. A move from Democracy to Marxist Socialism!
In fact,The White House press corps is now completely supine, utterly shameless in its groveling cowardice. Stalin himself couldn't have wished for a more slobbering press corps!

To give the full effect of the message that the Russian people and the rest of the World who read Pravda will now think. I will quote the entire article, as any excerpt would not tell the whole story of what others see is going on in the USA.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?"

This article is a wake -up call for those who voted for Obama and still believe his CHANGE will make life better for them. Of course those dedicated to Socialism and the elitist Socialists will not be phased by this article, because they realized from the "get go" that the smooth talking Obama was one of theirs.

While Obama claims that his administration brings "hope and change" to the American people. And masquerades his "spendulus package" as a stimulus effort, much of the billions in taxpayers money is rapidly finding it's way to European banks that are affiliated or hold paper from American financial institutions.

The only people whom are satisfied with the socialist tack that Obama has our ship of state headed toward are the "fat cat" financial manipulators who operate on the World stage, the academics who are the dedicated radicals of the 60's, Unions, Including the bloated teachers Union and the people who already are part of the government apparatchik.
The rest of us taxpaying middle class "fly over", gun owning, bible readers are left out in the cold holding the bag for the massive debt that we alone cannot pay. This estimated 10 trillion dollar debt will fall upon our children and grandchildren to be sure!

Now that the government has its hooks in GM, it can force the company to produce cars that meet the excessive environmental and energy standards of the EPA. In other words, cars that no one will buy when gas isn't $4 a gallon, and the cars cost 50 to $75,000.

Obama claimed, "The United States government has no interest or intention of running GM," but that is exactly what he has in mind. What else would the new car czar (read: kommissar) -- the Director of Recovery for Auto Communities and Workers -- be empowered to do? In fact, Obama wants the federal government to "stand behind" warranties for GM and Chrysler, which even Democrats in Congress say he needs their approval to do.Will we have to call the White House to get a Gm car serviced or return a "lemon"?

As for Chrysler, why, of all companies, was Fiat chosen to partner with the smallest of the so-called Big Three automakers? Fiat is famous for making lightweight, fuel-efficient vehicles that are all the rage in Europe but which don't sell that well in America. If the design sense that made Fiat famous abroad and feckless here at home is applied to Chrysler, then the company might better be allowed to slip into bankruptcy -- something that could happen anyway if it doesn't craft a deal with the cardboard car company from Italy in 30 days. And from my vantage point, Fiat would be foolish to buy Chrysler!

Finally, as an April Fool's Day joke, Car and Driver magazine ran an article claiming that Obama had ordered Chevrolet and Dodge out of NASCAR if they were to continue to receive bailout funds. Naturally, it caused quite a stir because it was so believable. We can only imagine the White House staff crying, "Who leaked our plans?"SOURCE: PATRIOT POST

Despite the Media love affair over Michelle Obama's stunning clothes,(SHE CHANGES OUTFITS THREE TIMES A DAY WHILE IN FRANCE) and her being compared with Jackie Kennedy is patently absurd.The swoon over the POTUS and First Lady ignores the fact that their history illustrates that they both detest the way the USA has operated under the free enterprise system for years. The words still ring in my head that Michelle Obama said when she learned Barack was nominated to be the Democratic representative for President.
She said "this was the first time in her life that she was proud of America", and the speeches Obama gave in France were as deprecating as any man since Benedict Arnold turned on America and went over to the British. No American President should apologize to the Eu. Without the USA they would all be speaking German or Russian!

While the media cheers the new clothes that POTUS has put on
( welfare state clothing), the rest of us, over 50 million believe he has no clothes on that we can see will help us!

When Senator Goldwater ran for President against President for one year, Lyndon Johnson. The Democrat machine succeeded in portraying Goldwater as an extremist. Goldwater had a habit of making blunt statements about war, nuclear weapons, and economics that could be turned against him.

Another Johnson ad, “Confessions of a Republican”, tied Goldwater to the Ku Klux Klan. Voters increasingly viewed Goldwater as a right wing fringe candidate—his slogan “In your heart, you know he's right” was successfully parodied by the Johnson campaign into “In your guts, you know he's nuts,” or “In your heart, you know he might" (as in push the nuclear button), or even "In your heart, he's too far right."

The dirty tricks worked, and Johnson won in a "landslide". However, his domestic policies helped split union members and Southerners away from Franklin Roosevelt's Democratic New Deal Coalition, which would lead to the phenomenon of the "Reagan Democrat". Of the ten presidential elections that followed, Democrats would win only three times. Fast forward to today, and we find the "smarter than you are" leftist, secular Media is trying to accomplish the same results with Governor Palin. The interview by ABC's Leftist Charlie Gibson of Palin and his subsequent comments illustrate the animus the Left has for religion and those who have the "nerve" to profess it publicly, especially on television.

For the past years the atheist, agnostics, secularists have attacked President Bush, not because he has kept the USA free from a recurrence of 9/11/01, but because he is a professed Christian!
The animus by the so called intelligentsia, and the Left in general, for any display of Judeo-Christian values is on display each and every day for anyone to see if they open his/her eyes to see!

Although I am not accusing anyone of being a Communist. This type of attack by the Democratic party and the MSM plays directly into the hands of those who would love to see our Christian principles destroyed. They are willing accomplice's of the extreme Left!

The deprecating on television of Gov. Palin and any other politician as being a Theocrat, defies credibility if you look at true theocracies. In Iran you have a true Theocracy. The Ayatolla Khomeini is the religious leader who "pulls the strings"on his "puppet" President!

While main stream television and the news services like Associated Press, publish articles proclaiming that the USA cannot do anything to stop the naked aggression in Georgia by the Russian "Bear".
The cries of betrayal seem to have fallen on deaf ears here in the U.S.

Perhaps our nation wouldn't be so willing to stand by and watch the Russians begin their take over of the freedom seeking people of the counties located along the Baltic Sea - Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania that are known as the Baltic States. These three countries were occupied and annexed by the Soviet Union in 1940 but gained their independence again when the Soviet Union fell in 1991.
If the USA media had not been the mouth piece for the anti-Vietnam and Anti-Iraq war leftists in this country.

ONLY FDR HAD SUCH MANAGED NEWS AS OBAMA

In 1932 When FDR ran for president he and his advisers worried about the impact of his disability, but it turned out to be an issue of no consequence. As a campaign issue it never surfaced during FDR's career.Perhaps it was because an already "leftist" press took no pictures showing him in his wheel chair or hobbling along on crutches.

FDR was anything but open or casual about his inability to walk. On the contrary, he wanted little or no mention of it, particularly any comment that conveyed weakness.
In short, FDR was extremely sensitive to any one's calling attention to his infirmity. His family made no mention of it except if some practical arrangements were to be made.And a willing newspaper corps accommodated his wishes!

Journalists, with whom he met regularly, never talked to FDR about the fact that he could not walk. Appearing in public presented logistical problems for FDR. On such occasions, when the president had to put on his heavy braces, required planning. By swinging his hips, which pushed his legs forward, leaning on a cane with one hand and gripping the arm of a sturdy companion with the other, FDR seemed to be walking. Thus he was able to navigate the few steps to a podium or to greet official guests when protocol required him to stand.

Roosevelt knew instinctively that American voters did not need to know about his disability, and the Press co-operated!

Today we have much more media coverage of candidates for public office with 24 hour television , Newspapers and the ever growing power of Internet blogger.
The obvious positive spin that the major newspapers and network television is giving to Barack Obama is reminiscent of the coverage given to FDR.

Obama is shown playing basket ball with the troops in Kuwait, going to church in the South,and the almost adoring, treatment from the media compared with rival Democratic Senator Clinton in the primary debates.
As expected, Hillary Clinton agreed that Obama was getting preferential treatment from the media,especially from the late Tim Russert in the opening debate.

Then was Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who dominated news coverage for a few days when YouTube videos circulated of the reverends fiery sermons. But the MSM quickly consigned any further coverage of Wright to the trash can!.
When his wife Michelle made her infamous speech about "never being proud", the left came to her aid with statements that she was being unfairly picked on because she was a Black outspoken woman! And negative coverage of her evoked such replies as, "It is a bold-faced exercise in Conservative desperation and fear. It's a shallow, pathetic maneuver put forth by a shallow, pathetic right wing movement"!

A new study of primary coverage by the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism and the Joan Shorenstein Center on Press, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard University shows Clinton and Obama had almost 70 percent favorable coverage of their personal narratives, while only 43 percent of McCain’s coverage was favorable.

And a October 31 release by the Project for Excellence in Journalism and the Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy. Called “The Invisible Primary–Invisible No Longer,” during the first five months of 2007, Obama received by far the most positive coverage of any presidential candidate.

This new study follows a long line of media complaints that Obama has received reverential coverage from the press. Washington Post media critic Howard Kurtz has claimed that the “walk on water coverage” of Obama “ranges from glowing to gushing,” Slate.com's Timothy Noah even started a feature titled "The Obama Messiah Watch.”


In a perfect world the Media would be totally neutral in their reporting. It is the obligation of the media to report, not make, public opinion. They can express their opinion on the editorial pages and segments, but not in the stories. This expectation should apply to all media from USA Today and CNN to the the city gazette in Podunk! Kind of reminiscent of the 40s when both FRD and a little dictator with a mustache got nothing but positive Press!

This truly is the time of severe testing of the principles upon which this Country was founded. The secular-humanists have e all but denied evil as a force to be reckoned with, and banished God from all public places. Our own government has issued a NEW COIN WITHOUT THE WORDS, "IN GOD WE TRUST", FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OUR HISTORY!

Another historic event is the selection by the Democrat party of a man with the most liberal record in the U.S. Senate to be their candidate for president.A man with only two years experience in Washington, a great deal of that time spent campaigning for the Oval Office.
This empty suit has captured the main stream media's devotion for liberal causes. Their coverage of him has been almost savior like. Now in an overt demonstration of their loyalty to Barack Obama, all three major networks will be sending anchor persons to accompany Obama on his first trip to Iraq and Europe. You can expect wall to wall coverage of this desperate attempt to show that Senator Obama has a grasp of International politics. Brian Williams of NBC, Katie Couric of CBS and Charles Gibson of ABC will be in the entourage of political reporters from Newspapers and magazines.

In Europe he will be welcomed by the people of countries that have already embraced the socialist type governments that Obamna proposes to take the USA.
But it is Iraq where the news will have to be carefully managed. The troops have read and heard of his disparaging remarks about their mission. These are not draftees, but volunteers who are in many cases on their second or third tours, because they believe in the mission they are executing.

The Generals have already been warned that Obama will not take their advice. He will listen, but has said repeatedly that he will begin withdrawing their troops once he inhabits the Oval Office. Even Matt Lauer had his liberal mind confused by Obama's switch, and asked:"throughout the primaries you did talk about this, this idea of getting U.S. troops out within 16 months of being elected and now you say, ‘Look I’ll talk to commanders and generals on the ground and my, my ideas are being refined.’ People do get nervous about that senator, you understand that"?

This from a man who wants to be president but apparently doesn't know that the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Armed Services does not control the war in Iraq, as this statement displays. “I’m going to call in the Joint Chiefs of Staff and give them a new mission, and that is to bring the war in Iraq to a close. We are going to get out.”

Not all Iraqi's want to be free of U.S. troops. The New York Times published an interview with an Iraqi official Saad Sultan, an man in the Iraqi government. He said during his travels in Germany, where there have been American bases since the end of World War II, softened his attitude toward a long-term presence. "I have no problem to have a camp here," he said. "I find it in Germany and that's a strong country".

As for Obama's plan for withdrawal, "It's just propaganda for an election"!
"Al Qaeda would rearrange itself and come back, if the Americans withdraw," said
Falah al-Alousy ,the director of an organization that runs a school in an area south of Baghdad that was controlled by religious extremists two years ago. "Former insurgents turned against the militant group, but local authorities still rely heavily on Americans to keep the peace; the Iraqi Army, largely Shiite, is not allowed to patrol in the area of his school".

When Race Is Used To Advantage

Despite the fact that a poll taken by Pollster.com, shows that President Bush has a popular rating similar to that of the US Congress. Neither has a rating higher than 35%, meaning that the Country views both sides of the political spectrum with disdain. In fact "Wake Up America" shows that Bush's approval rating is 33% and Congress is 28%!

The Left wing Media is still leading off articles that have content that is favorable to the President, with negative statements like the following post from Reuters columnist Barry Moody;

Although around 2,000 Muslim demonstrators protested against Bush on the eve of his visit, many thousands more cheering, waving people lined his road from the airport on Saturday.
Banners across the route, decorated with Bush's image against a backdrop of Tanzania's Mt. Kilimanjaro, read: "We cherish democracy. Karibu (welcome) to President and Mrs Bush".


While President Bush reaches out the hand of friendship in Africa, a land that comprises 20% of the Worlds total land mass and comprises over 18% of the Worlds population.

Obama and Hillary are complicit in an act that some would consider treason and at the very least, giving aid and comfort to an avowed enemy of the US.

Yet, no place in the Major news outlets, only on the Internet, do you find this piece of demaogogic news. Why? Because it is bad news for the opposition, not President Bush!


"Right in the middle of the hottest presidential primary in decades, both Obama and Hillary are sending their foreign policy honchos to Damascus. These advisors are people who have a chance of running US foreign policy in the next administration. They aren't shy. They are taking over our foreign affairs right now, because they are entitled to. They know better than our elected officials". Says who!

This despite the fact that US military leaders have said the Iranians have been supplying arms and aid to the terrorists in Iraq. At least this has been reported by the print media as divulged in a featured article in the Los Angeles Times:

"U.S. commanders had said there were signs that Iranian authorities were keeping a vow made to Iraqi leaders last summer to help stem the flow of support across the notoriously porous border. Lately, however, U.S. officials have reported a rising number of attacks that use the kind of sophisticated armor-piercing explosives that they allege come from Iran".

In a reference to Bush's domestic problems, Prme Minister Kikwete added: "Different people may have different views about you and your administration and your legacy.
"But we in Tanzania, if we are to speak for ourselves and for Africa, we know for sure that you, Mr. President, and your administration have been good friends of our country and have been good friends of Africa."

Apparently the Media believes Africa is not a major part of what they call "much of the rest of the World"!
